About this nanny job

Our family is moving to Brooklyn next week, and we’re looking for a sitter who can do two half days a week (ideally around 10–2), plus one weekend night each week. We can guarantee 12 hours a week for the first few weeks while we get Charlie settled into pre-K. After that, we’d love to keep a sitter on for a couple of nights each week. We’re happy to work around another job or other commitments, and can be flexible on which days work best. Charlie is pretty independent and loves being outside, arts and crafts, and pretty much any kind of creative activity. She’s at a really fun age and loves to play and be silly. We’ll be in temporary housing in Downtown Brooklyn for the first month, but long-term we’re planning to be in the Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, or Park Slope area. We’ve been so lucky to have our current sitters for years, and we’d love to find someone in Brooklyn who we can build a similar long-term relationship with. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who will really get to know Charlie and be a consistent part of her life as she grows.
