About this nanny job

I’m looking for a reliable, patient, and caring nanny for my son. I’m hoping to find someone who can become a consistent and familiar caregiver for our family and build a positive, trusting relationship with him over time. The regular schedule will be every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 PM–9:00 PM. I will also need occasional full-day care when school is closed for students, such as professional development days, teacher workdays, and other scheduled school closures. These dates will typically be provided in advance based on the school calendar. There may also be opportunities for occasional additional care outside of the regular schedule. My son is autistic, so experience caring for autistic or neurodivergent children is strongly preferred. I’m looking for someone who is patient, understanding, attentive, and comfortable following established routines. Additional information about his individual needs, preferences, communication, and routines will be shared privately with the selected caregiver. Responsibilities will include supervising and engaging with my son, preparing or serving meals and snacks as needed, assisting with his evening routine, providing age-appropriate activities and interaction, maintaining his established routines, and keeping him safe and comfortable. The ideal caregiver is dependable, punctual, nurturing, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with children. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who wants to get to know my son and become our go-to caregiver long term, rather than having a different sitter each time care is needed.
