Availability: looking for primarily evenings/date nights Hello Parents! My name is Courtney and I'm currently an ICU nurse. I have been working as a nanny off Urbansitter for about 8 years and absolutely I love it! I think my favorite part about being a nanny so far has been being a positive role model for young kids. Currently I am working on finishing nursing school and currently I have my EMT license and am BLS certified. Most recently I worked as an EMT at a summer camp these past two summers. By having many different types of childcare jobs I have had the opportunity to work with all age groups from 4 weeks- 16 years old. I am excited to meet more families in the area and if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out! Frequently Asked Questions: What do I expect from parents? Good communication and being honest with me. This allows me to do the best job possible taking care of your little one :) Are you CPR certified? Yes! Since August 2021. I also have had my EMT license and BLS certification since March 2022 as well as my ACLS and PALS certifications Are you vaccinated? Yes! I am up to date on all my vaccines including COVID (including first, second, and booster) Will you wear a mask around me and my family? Yes, I can! Just let me know if you would like that What if I come home early? Will I still be charged for the full time? Yes, due to me setting time aside in my schedule for an agreed upon amount of hours I do expect full payment. Please let me know if you have any questions! I look forward to hearing from you :)

I am currently only available for date nights, weekends, and holidays. My name is Sarah and I am a graduate of Fordham University at Lincoln Center in New York City. I have taken courses in Early Childhood and Special Education. I spent awhile in graduate school at the University of Massachusetts. I currently live in Delaware and work as an archaeologist for the State. I started babysitting for people outside my family when I was twelve, and so I've been babysitting for about 14 years now. I have two younger siblings that I have watched for much longer than that. I have watched newborns up to teenagers. I have done everything from a full time nannying position to a mother's helper to just date night sitting. I have experience with large groups of children, through working with both mothers groups and running crafts and activities at a small toy store. I also have experience with children with autism and various special needs. I have worked with children with Downs, but I have the most experience with autistic children. I have worked in several preschool as a substitute. I love taking the kids outside to play. I've been told I can play a mean game of Princess Wizard Ninja make-believe. If it's not a great day outside, I love playing games with the kids inside. I bond with kids using their interests to engage them in age appropriate activities. I do have access to a car and I don't mind running errands or helping with household chores and cooking. I also have no problem with pets in the household. I am more than happy to meet in person or schedule a phone/Skype interview before watching your children. I am more than happy to provide references as well!

$22 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Ayanna! I’m a caregiver with over 10 years of experience working with children and pets. I’ve had the privilege of supporting families by caring for children ranging in age from newborns to teenagers (up to age 14), adapting my approach to meet each child’s unique developmental needs. My background includes everything from infant care and sleep routines to homework help, creative play, and emotional support. I have a bachelor's in Psychology and I’m currently pursuing a Master's in education. I am also trained and certified by the American Red Cross in CPR, First Aid, and Advanced Child Care—ensuring that safety and preparedness are always a priority in my care. In addition to working with children, I have extensive experience caring for pets, including dogs, cats, and other small animals. Whether it’s feeding, walking, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I bring the same level of attentiveness and warmth to animal care as I do to childcare. Above all, I believe in creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can thrive and families feel supported.

Caron $20 per hour for 1 child

Hello families! My journey in childcare began in high school when I helped at my aunt’s daycare, and I’ve been dedicated to working with children ever since. For 7 years, I worked with the YMCA as both a counselor and Assistant Director, supporting children ages 5–12 in after school and summer camp programs. I also gained hands-on experience caring for infants and toddlers in the YMCA daycare. I now serve as a substitute teacher with Boston Public Schools while completing my BA in Early Education & Care in Inclusive Settings. This role has strengthened my ability to adapt to different classrooms, support diverse learners, and build meaningful connections with children of all ages. As a mom myself, I understand the importance of finding someone you can truly trust with your little ones. Families describe me as fun, empathetic, and creative. I love making learning and play engaging, and I take pride in ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and valued. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to work with you to meet your family’s needs.

I have been a dedicated nanny for 13 wonderful years. I am enthusiastic and energetic about life and the work I do. I am looking for a long-term, consistent position with a family that I can grow with. Most recently, I was with a family for 10 years. I began working with this family when the boys were 2 mo. and 2 years old. It was especially important that I meet the needs of each individual boy. We did many activities together. Lots of reading, trips to the museums, parks, and lots of play time. Time was also spent just relaxing and enjoying the world around us. I also assisted with homework and school activities as the boys got older. They also now have a lovely daughter who is 2 y.o. General household management/organization are also on my skill list. From laundry, errands, and healthy meal preparation to transportation to activities. I am experienced caring for newborns and infants also. I was part of my first family for 3 years. I started with them prior to the birth of their very loveable twin boys. I helped care for the twins, their curious 3 y.o. sister, and their adventurous 6 y.o. brother. It is fantastic being with families with many children!! There is never a dull moment:):) I have a Master’s Degree in Psychology. Prior to my career as a nanny, I worked as a home based therapist / case manager for children and adolescents, many of whom had special needs. I have a calm, easygoing personality. I love to laugh and have fun!! In my spare time I enjoy reading, keeping fit, cooking, and giving my dog lots of TLC:):) I am punctual and thorough. I drive a safe, reliable, 4-wheel drive vehicle, and have a safe driving record. I can provide excellent professional and personal references. Thank you for taking the time to read my biography. Be Well, Maureen
