Hi! My name is Hailey, and I am currently wrapping up my first year as a Kindergarten teacher in Canton, MI. I absolutely love what I do and enjoy working with children of all ages. I am looking for a part-time opportunity during the summer months while I am off from school, and I would love to support a family who needs extra help. I have experience working with children from 3 months old through 5th grade, and I especially enjoy caring for infants. Last winter, I worked with a wonderful family in Ann Arbor caring for their 5-month-old daughter for about 6 months. After that, I was lucky enough to help another amazing family during the summer with their infant daughter as well. I also worked for two years in a childcare center where I truly fell in love with babies and toddlers while in college. These experiences have helped me become very comfortable with feeding, bottles, diapering, nap schedules, and all of the daily routines that come with infant care. I truly enjoy building strong connections not only with the children I care for, but also with their families. My goal is always to make your life easier in any way I can. I am happy to help with light household chores, meal prep, errands, organizing, walking pets, and keeping things tidy. I also take care of all baby-related tasks such as preparing bottles, cleaning and sanitizing, baby laundry, diaper changes, restocking supplies, and anything else needed to keep your little one happy and safe. I would describe myself as patient, reliable, nurturing, and very organized, and I take pride in creating a safe, fun, and loving environment for the children I work with. Stay at home parent of 2 kids, ages 4 and 6. The older one is now in school and I can occasionally take on some extra care! We have a fun home space with a swing and lots of gross motor opportunities!

Hello! I have 20 years of experience in childcare. My most recent experience is with infants and toddlers in part time care between the time when parents go back to work and the children start preschool. I also completed nursing school and am a registered nurse with an up to date basic life support certification for CPR from a hospital. I enjoy singing and dancing and art of all kinds. Happy to baby wear and stroller push on various adventures. I'm familiar with baby led weaning and many nap routine strategies and philosophies.
