I have been baby sitting every summer for the last 3 years and also have cared for my younger family members. I love kids and the joy they bring to the world. I’ve had to change diapers, feed babies, make dinners and just be with the kids. A lot of time I enjoy doing activities with the kids such as going to neighborhood pools, even taking them to get ice cream sometimes and playing outside or doing indoor games like hide and seek or board games. I think what makes me a great caregiver is that I really enjoy being around kids and really want to be there with them. I enjoy allowing them to be free to express themselves but also know how to make sure they are taken care of when it’s time to do things like go to sleep or do their homework. I believe it’s a balance of mutual respect with kids and I respect that they need rest and play. With the kids I babysit I also like to go on walks with them, and even just enjoy watching tv with them.

Hey I’m Annie! After graduating from East Carolina University in 2017, I began working as an EMT for 3 years and also obtained my BLS certification. I then began working in the dental field and am just trying to pick up extra work to do during my off time. I have a lot of community service experience where I served as a mentor to a child, volunteered as a camp counselor for children with special needs, as well as volunteered in an after school program as a tutor. I have babysat for a few families in Charlotte and nannied for 1 year. Working with kids is an absolute joy and I can’t wait to help out families in the area!
