SCHEDULING: Please reach out. I am very flexible. Even though I have a set availability, I still may be able to care for your kiddos. I DO NOT do overnights UNLESS I have worked for the family before and feel safe. I have over 8 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including as a nanny, substitute teacher, tutor, and summer camp leader. For the past 6+ years, I’ve been actively involved in students’ education through both school and in-home tutoring. I have experience working with children ages 4 and up and truly enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and build confidence. As a nanny, my role has primarily focused on tutoring, creating fun and engaging adventures and activities (my favorite part!), and helping with bedtime routines. While my experience has mainly centered around childcare and education, I’m also open to assisting with household tasks as needed. My experience as a substitute teacher, both short- and long-term, has helped me develop strong classroom management, communication, and problem-solving skills. I’m patient, energetic, dependable, and love creating a positive environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. I enjoy balancing structure with fun and believe in building genuine connections with the children and families I work with. A little about me: I love staying active, exploring new places, and making everyday moments fun and memorable for kids. I’m also in law school! I want to work with juveniles eventually.

Hello, I've had extensive experience in caring for children of all ages. I have 24 yr old college educated twins boys, one lives outside the home, the other is in his last year of college. I also have a 10 year old daughter, who is very mature,( an old soul) smart ( like her bros.) friendly, compassionate and intelligent. I've worked as a special education paraeducator for Los Angeles unified school district from 1[removed], working with children from 3 yrs to 21, with behavior challenges, physical, mental and academic disabilities. I also became a foster parent, liscensed for basic and therapeutic care for Los Angeles County for 4 years but due to covid I didn't continue. I've always been told I am naturally nurturing, and caring , I haven't met a child yet that didn't like me. 😊 I have been off of work for almost two years officially, however, I do have a few side gigs when requested, party planning, cosmetology, just to name a few. I have also been contacted about becoming a RBT ( Registered Behavior Technician) by the Learning and Behavior Center of Tarzana, which I am considering, however I'd love to assist a family that may can use my services, and just over all great energy. Thank you for your consideration

Tara helped us out last minute and was great with our two boys (7 and 1). I would definitely recommend and book her again.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
