Hello! I'm Medb and I use they/them pronouns. I'm 22 years old and am a psychology and statistics student at Cal Poly Humboldt, though am currently home in Lincoln Park for the summer. Since I was 12, I've worked for an organization called CircEsteem, a youth circus located in Uptown. There, I was a counselor, coach, and mentor for kids ages 2-17. I was immersed in a very diverse environment, and gained experience caring for children with different support needs. I also have taken care of infants as young as 3 months. As a sitter, and more broadly as an individual, I ground myself in the values of empathy, creativity, community, and self-esteem. Through play and art, I hope to aid in teaching kids the importance of loving ourselves and others. Additionally, I have worked as a tutor for both grade school and high school students and am always happy to help with homework. I am currently task training my own service dog, and am very pet friendly :) And as a fun little bonus, I love teaching kids basic circus skills like juggling, and am into all kinds of art work and creative projects! Hi! My name is Leslie, I’m 20 years old, and I’m in my last semester of Early Childhood Learning. Caring for children has always been a big part of my life—I started out helping with my younger siblings, cousins, and niece, and over the years I’ve had the most experience with toddlers and school-aged children. I’ve also had the privilege of caring for my cousin with autism, which has helped me understand that every child has their own unique needs and ways of learning. I enjoy doing whatever kids love—whether that’s running around outside, reading books, working on puzzles, or getting creative with arts and crafts. I can also support with homework and learning, since I’ve taken classes in children’s literature, math, and health. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, which I find really helpful when connecting with families and children. In addition to childcare, I have a lot of experience with pets. I currently work at PetSmart, so I’ve gained knowledge about many different types of animals. At home, I have four cats and a guinea pig, so I’m very comfortable with both small and larger pets. I can help with walking, feeding, playtime, and making sure they get the love and attention they need. I’m also happy to support families with day-to-day needs like light cleaning, preparing simple meals and snacks, grocery shopping, and running errands. Overall, I’m a caring, dependable, and energetic person who truly enjoys helping children, pets, and families thrive.

Hii my names Isabella ! I’m a 20 year old currently studying Biology with a focus on Genetics. I’m in my final year and excited to be just one year away from earning my bachelor’s degree. I’ve always been passionate about science and the way it helps us understand life on a deeper level, especially in the field of genetics. I’ve also always had a natural connection with kids I love spending time with them, learning from their curiosity, and helping them grow. Growing up, my family worked in household roles like housekeeping and house management, and they often took me along. So from a young age, I got to see what it means to be responsible, organized, and attentive to others’ needs. That experience really shaped the way I carry myself today. Outside of school and work, I love being outdoors, trying new foods, and finding little adventures around the city. Whether it’s going to a street market, spending time with family, or just relaxing with a good movie, I like to stay balanced and appreciate the small things in life.
