Hi! My name is Medjina. I’m a sophomore at Boston College studying Psychology and Human Development, and caring for others has always been something that comes naturally to me. I have experience in both childcare and healthcare. I currently work as a clinical assistant at Dana Farber, and before that I worked at Newton Wellesley Hospital. Those roles have taught me how to be responsible, patient, calm, and attentive, especially in busy or high stress situations. I am used to following routines, prioritizing safety, and communicating clearly with families. I also have a lot of experience working with children. I come from a big family and have spent many years babysitting younger cousins, including toddlers. I’ve always enjoyed being around kids and helping them feel comfortable and supported. I also volunteered as a camp counselor at a local YMCA, where I helped with daily routines, activities, meals, and supervision. That experience helped me learn how to keep kids engaged while also making sure they feel safe and cared for. What I love most about caregiving is building trust and being someone families can rely on. I enjoy creating a calm, positive environment where kids feel secure and parents feel at ease. I’m dependable, organized, and happy to help however I can. I’m comfortable with cooking, cleaning, organizing, household chores, and pet care, and I enjoy helping families keep things running smoothly. I am very patient and excel at building trust and rapport with children. I have an associate's and a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and am currently working toward a master's degree in Social Work. My educational background constantly aids me in understanding the differing needs of children of different age groups. I have previously taught art classes and worked as the program coordinator for an after school program. I have experience with children who have ADHD and ASD in my own family and through working with them in schools. I am well versed in animal body language and have experience giving pets medication.

I am a proud mom of three boys. They are grown giving me freedom to explore more options with work and life. I am infant/toddler preschool and school age certified by the state and have worked in the daycare setting as well as nannying. I enjoy seeing kids achieve goals and be so proud of themselves! I have been gaining experience on working with any type of kids age like kids that have brains symptoms. Honestly, I love kids, I love playing with them, listening to them, observing them. I am easy to a kid adapting to me. My first time working with children, it was on Fletcher Maynard in Cambridge on 2019. By the time, I was a teacher assistant for after school. My roles were making sure they slept, eat , play, helping them with homework. Organizes their activities supplied created by the teachers, organized the classroom by making sure the kids belonging are on their place. Supervised them. Joining them on their activities. Accompanied them on their needs especially when they want to use restroom.
