About Us: We’re a family in Fairfax, VA with a friendly 2½-year-old boy and one small, well-behaved dog. Our son is already sleep-trained and has a predictable bedtime routine. We’re looking for a regular overnight sitter we can count on for travel nights, occasional weekends, and as-needed overnights. Responsibilities: - Prepare and follow our established bedtime routine - Stay overnight (typically ~8 PM–7 AM or as scheduled) - Respond calmly and appropriately to night awakenings - Limited screen time allowed (up to ~30 minutes with milk only) - Light tidy up related to childcare - Communicate updates via text before you leave Requirements: ✔ Proven experience with overnight care for toddlers (age 2–4) ✔ Reliable, punctual, and professional ✔ Comfortable with a small dog in the home ✔ CPR & Pediatric First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to obtain) ✔ Background check (we will request one if not already on platform) ✔ Able to provide strong references from families with toddlers Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and reliability How to Apply: Please send your profile with: - Overnight experience details - CPR/First Aid status - 2–3 recent references - Availability for a trial evening and regular overnight slotsBabysitting job details
