Weekly Evening Caregiver for Our Curious 18-Month-Old: We're looking for a reliable, warm caregiver to help us out one evening per week with our 18-month-old son. Schedule: Once weekly, currently planning for Wednesdays (though the exact day may shift week to week based on our schedules). Daycare pickup between 4:30–5:30pm, bedtime around 7:30pm. What the evening looks like: - Pick up our son from daycare in Mission Bay - Head to our home in Lower Haight - Cook and serve him dinner - or feed him what we've already prepped/provide - Playtime – he's in an active stage and loves exploring! We often stop by Duboce Park after daycare if you're up for it - Bedtime routine and down between 7:00 - 8:30pm, but usually around 7:30pm. Lately, he's been walking into his room after I say 'bed time' when he's ready to go to bed which is WONDERFUL. Transportation: You'll need reliable transportation to get from Mission Bay to Lower Haight with our son. A car works great (note: street parking only at our home), or the 22 bus is a convenient option – there's a stop right in front of his daycare and it drops off at Fillmore & Haight, a short walk to our place. We'll reimburse gas or transportation expenses. About our son: He's light-hearted, cheeky, and endlessly curious. He's at that wonderfully active stage where he wants to be on the move and exploring everything. He does well with caregivers who match his energy and engage with him playfully. What we're looking for: - Reliable and consistent - Proactive and assertive - Comfortable with toddler care including meal prep, feeding, and bedtime routines - Patient, playful, and attentive We'll also reimburse you for your own dinner. To start, we'd do a trial evening at our home (without the pickup) to make sure it's a good fit for everyone before moving to the full routine.
