My husband, my 3 cats, and I welcomed a new family member into our lives in September 2025. He's a very charming little boy — as cute as you can imagine. He's quick to smile and loves to be held and cuddled. We love him to pieces, but we were not prepared for this curve ball. I never planned on having children. I'm 43 years old. My husband is 42 with 4 other children from a previous relationship. We do not have custody of his 4 other kids, but my husband tries to spend time with them as much as possible, usually the weekend, occasionally during the week, but his kids do not come over to our house. My husband is a carpenter who recently injured his spine on the job. He is almost completely recovered from a recent surgery, but he will never be as able bodied as he once was and isn't sure if he'll continue in the field. He is currently doing freelance work, and I am an online graduate school student of accounting -- switching career tracks. My undergraduate degree was in art, and I am an artist at heart, but I am learning to be practical as well. I primarily need help, so I can have time to study or keep up with my other responsibilities. We are currently in the process of enrolling our baby in daycare, part time, during the weekdays. We will need occasional help on the weekends or possibly sometimes during the week. It could be during the day or the evenings. We are both feeling spread very thin, and we need more breaks. We welcome you into our humble abode. We have a little old house that we plan to fix up and resell once our bodies heal as we both suffer from back pain. We hope you can help us keep up with house chores when you visit. Whatever you can do to help (namely dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, swiffering, tidying) will be much appreciated!Babysitting job details
