I am looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced babysitter/nanny to provide short-term in-home support while I am traveling for work. The role is designed to assist a live-in grandmother who will be caring for my baby during this time, offering extra support to ensure routines remain consistent and caregiving responsibilities are shared thoughtfully. This is a collaborative position focused on teamwork, communication, and calm support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working alongside another caregiver, following established routines, and stepping in where extra help is needed. This is not a sole-charge role, but rather a supportive presence to help ensure both the baby and caregiver are well supported. Care will be for one infant under one year old with an established daily routine that includes bottle feedings, naps, playtime, and bedtime. Responsibilities will include assisting with feedings and diaper changes, supporting nap and bedtime transitions, engaging in age-appropriate play, and helping maintain a calm, nurturing environment. Light baby-related tasks such as washing bottles, tidying play areas, and preparing simple baby items will also be part of the role. The schedule will include a mix of daytime and some evening support, coordinated in advance with flexibility as needed. The goal is to provide reliable coverage that allows the grandmother time to rest or attend to personal needs while maintaining continuity of care for the baby. The ideal candidate has prior infant experience, communicates clearly and kindly, and values consistency and routine. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. The candidate must be a non-smoker and comfortable working in a private home environment. Compensation will be competitive and discussed based on experience. Meals will be provided during shifts.
