About this babysitting job
Hello! I am looking for someone who can occasionally do afterschool pick ups for my son. I will say this disclaimer I keep hiring people who keep picking up my son and just putting him in front of the TV and then working on their computer. I don’t mind a little bit of that, but I do want someone who will interact with him in other ways. That being said, this job will require picking my son up from his school, walking home a couple of blocks, giving him a snack, helping him with his homework, making sure his water bottle is refilled (I know it seems silly to mention, but you would be surprised how it’s often overlooked). Possibly getting him off of the screen to play Legos or creating another activity. I would really love someone who is open to engaging with him. He’s a great kid. Ideally, I would prefer someone who lives in Bay Ridge or Bensonhurst or someone who drives. We are a good 10 to 15 minute walk from the R train but close to bus stops.
