Hi! We’re looking for a babysitter to care for our 27-month-old son, Max, this Friday. He currently has hand, foot, and mouth (his third time with it). He has quite a few bumps and has been saying his hands hurt, but overall he’s still in good spirits and mostly himself. Ideally you will spend a lot of time outside as that is where he is happiest. Both parents will be working from home and available as needed. No one else in our family currently has symptoms. That said, HFM is contagious, so we want to be fully transparent that any sitter would need to accept the role at their own discretion and risk. We’re hoping to find someone experienced with toddlers who is comfortable in this situation and able to provide gentle, attentive care while he rests and plays at home.
