We’re looking for a sitter that would be able to come 2 evenings a week while I’m in school until my husband comes back home. After that some much needed occasional date night sitting. My 5yr old is diagnosed with CHARGE syndrome that comes with: minimal vision, hearing loss in her left ear, high functioning Autism, and a horse shoe kidney. As of now she attends ABA from 230pm to 530pm so until I can have in home sessions you would be expected to pick her up from ABA and go back to the house for evening routine. With her you can expect A LOT of fun conversation, and some attention seeking behaviors, sometimes aggressive behaviors, or tantrums, as well as escaping from challenges (changing her clothes on her own, refusing to do homework). She does need some assistance but has a big vocabulary and is able to communicate her needs. She loves made up stories, learning different things, and kid make up. She’s such a funny, silly girl who’s still learning what is socially appropriate. Setting boundaries, goals each day with prompting and something she can earn is a great tool that works with her. My 2yr old is the diva, loves all things pretty. Shes a silly sweet girl, easy to care for. Both kids love spending some time in the backyard jumping on the trampoline, playing hide and seek, tag, or movement videos (floor is lava, wiggle dance). We also have an American staff mix puppy. She’s great with the kids, like all dogs loves attention, cuddles and massages. She’s easy to care for, sits by the door when she needs to go out. Evening routine 5:00- 7:50pm: pick up my 5yr old from ABA (5:30), homework, dinner, pjs, toys clean up, 730-7:50pm bedtime with a story. After bedtime it’s your free time to relax, watch TV, or whatever.Babysitting job details
