Hello! We’re a family based in the Santa Monica area looking for an experienced, dependable babysitter to care for our 11-month-old son. We’re hoping to find someone who brings a thoughtful, engaging, and professional approach to infant care, and who may be open to building an ongoing relationship for occasional daytime and evening support. Known Upcoming Dates: Tuesday, March 31: ~11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Friday, April 3: ~11:00 AM – 4:00 PM We anticipate needing help periodically beyond these dates and would love to find someone we can work with consistently over time. About Our Son & Routine: Our son is on a fairly consistent schedule and is a curious, active 11-month-old. We value attentive, developmentally engaging care and a calm, responsive approach. Responsibilities Include: Bottle and solids feeding Diapering Supporting naps (following an established routine) Engaged, interactive play (we prioritize presence over passive supervision) Light baby-related cleanup (bottles, toys, etc.) What We’re Looking For: Meaningful experience with infants/toddlers (required) CPR/First Aid certified Warm, attentive, and highly reliable Comfortable following and supporting an established routine Proactive, communicative, and professional Strong references Preferred / Nice to Have: Background in early childhood education or similar field Experience supporting sleep routines and developmental milestones Availability for occasional evenings and future daytime support Trial Opportunity: If schedules align, we would ideally love to set up a short paid trial visit (2–3 hours) in advance of March 31 to ensure a strong fit for everyone. That said, we understand timing may not allow for this and are flexible. Additional Details: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience Easy parking We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants and takes pride in providing high-quality care.
