About this babysitting job

We’re looking for someone who might be a great fit for our family. We have two daughters, ages 9 and 6, and are hoping to find after-school help from someone who enjoys being active, engaging with kids, and creating a positive environment. What we’re looking for includes: • Spending quality time with the girls after school • Outdoor play and active activities like soccer, games, yoga, movement, or fun backyard time • Creative activities like art, music, singing, or helping encourage piano practice • Our 6-year-old especially loves gymnastics and singing • Helping with homework and keeping them on track after school • Preparing a simple snack and/or dinner for the kids • Teaching and encouraging the girls to tidy up after themselves, keep rooms/play areas picked up, and build good habits • Light household help with kids’ rooms, playroom, and common areas as needed Our 9-year-old has ADHD, so someone patient, upbeat, and able to provide gentle structure, routines, and positive redirection would be especially appreciated. We also have two dogs (ages 7 and 15). They’re friendly and part of the household, so being comfortable around dogs is important. My wife works from home, so she may be around at times, but we’d love someone who can take initiative and help afternoons run smoothly.
