Hi there! We are looking for a warm, reliable, and engaging babysitter for our two daughters (ages 5 and 2) for regular date nights and occasional evenings. Our previous sitter was with our family for 1.5 years, and we typically booked her 2–3 nights per month. She had to leave us unexpectedly, and we’re now hoping to find someone who is looking for a similar ongoing relationship and can become a trusted, consistent presence in our girls’ lives. Our daughters are playful, curious, and love music, books, pretend play, and simple crafts. We’re looking for someone who truly enjoys being with kids and can create a fun, calm, and nurturing environment - while also confidently leading the evening and bedtime routine. Typical responsibilities include: - Playing, reading, singing, and engaging in creative activities - Helping with dinner/snacks as needed - Bath time and bedtime routines (pajamas, books, wind-down) - Creating a peaceful, positive, and structured evening We are looking for someone who is: - Kind, patient, and emotionally attuned - Highly reliable and communicative - Proactive and confident caring for young children independently - Comfortable with different personalities, routines, and ways children engage with the world - Respectful of a calm, structured home environment We especially value caregivers who have experience working with children across a range of needs, abilities, and temperaments, and who bring an inclusive, adaptable approach.
