✨ Weekly Evening Caregiver for Our Curious 20-Month-Old ✨ We're looking for a reliable, warm caregiver to help us out one evening per week with our 20-month-old son's daycare pickup, aftercare playtime, dinner, and bedtime. To start, we'd do a trial evening at our home (without the pickup) to make sure it's a good fit for everyone before moving to the full routine. 🗓️ Schedule – 1 day per week, currently planning for Wednesdays (though the exact day may shift week to week based on our schedules). Ongoing. – Daycare pickup between 4:30–5:30pm, bedtime around 7:30–8:00pm (~4 hours/evening). – Would love to find someone who is open to multiple days a week or expanding into a more involved house manager role. 🏡 What the evening looks like ▸ Pick up our son from daycare in Mission Bay ▸ Head to our home in Lower Haight ▸ Cook and serve him dinner (or feed him what we've already prepped/provided) ▸ Playtime; he's in an active stage and loves exploring! We often stop by Duboce Park after daycare if you're up for it. We don't have the TV on for him during the week, only on weekends. ▸ Bedtime routine, down between 7:00–8:00pm (usually around 7:30pm). He's a good sleeper and goes down quickly. We rarely have to take him out of bed once he's down unless he's extra fussy or getting sick. ▸ A little bit of tidying up throughout the evening, especially cleaning up after his meal and playtime toys 🚗 Transportation You'll need reliable transportation from the Mission Bay daycare to our home in Lower Haight. We'll reimburse gas or transit expenses. ► Car: Works great — we can provide a car seat. (Note: street parking only at our home.) ► Bus: The 22 is a convenient option — there's a stop right in front of daycare, and it drops off at Fillmore & Haight, a short walk to our place. 👶 About our son He's light-hearted, cheeky, and endlessly curious. He's at that wonderfully active stage where he wants to be on the move and exploring everything. He does well with caregivers who match his energy and engage with him playfully. We don't have any pets, but he LOVES dogs — so we currently get our fill from the pups at the dog park :) ✅ What we're looking for √ Reliable and consistent √ Proactive and assertive √ Comfortable with toddler care, including meal prep/cooking, feeding, and bedtime routines √ Patient, playful, and attentive √ Willing to help with light tidying throughout the evening Looking forward to hearing from you!
