My husband and I are looking for occasional childcare for our two children: a 6‑year‑old daughter and a 16‑month‑old son. We’re hoping to find someone reliable and kind who we can call on for date nights and occasionally during the day while we’re home doing things like yard work or projects around the house. No special care is required. We’re mainly looking for someone who is comfortable caring for both a young toddler and an elementary‑age child, keeping them safe, engaged, and happy. Our toddler may need diaper changes, snacks, and a nap depending on timing. An ideal day includes lots of playtime and interaction—reading books, playing with toys, spending time outside (weather permitting), and easy activities. They’re easygoing kids who really just enjoy having someone to play with and give them attention. Our daughter (6) loves crafts, drawing, imaginative play, books, and being outdoors. Our son (16 months) enjoys exploring, playing with toys, music, and lots of supervised active play. Overall, we’re looking for someone who enjoys kids and is happy to jump in and play—we value a warm, engaged presence more than anything.Babysitting job details
