About this nanny job

Our current nanny is moving back home and we are in need of a temporary (3-6 months) nanny until our daughter starts in daycare. Start date would be May 18th (but we can be flexible) with a flexible end date of October / November. Our daughter is 10 months old and has a pretty set schedule during the day. A typical day would start at 8:00am and you would be done most days by 3:00pm (early clock out on Fridays!). We are happy to work with you to ensure you get the right amount of hours per week so you can work longer on certain days to be done early on Fridays. Right now she is on two naps a day from 9:30am - 11:00am and 2:30pm - 4:00pm. My wife or I will be home by 3:00pm so you are not waiting for the nap to end. She loves to stay active, go for walks, visit the zoo / park, and she loves a good picture book. We do have a few scheduled activities on Tues or Thurs depending on the class schedule. No need to drive anywhere because we live in a very walkable neighborhood (Lincoln Park) and are only a block from the brown and purple lines. What you can expect when not caring for our daughter, tidying of the baby's space, meal prep for the baby, some light laundry, and occasionally letting the dog out for the bathroom. We are willing to offer a pay range that is comparable to your experience and will offer to buy lunch on Fridays. What we are looking for is a warm and caring nanny, experienced with infants, CPR certified, and comfortable with an active baby girl (she started crawling a couple of months ago) that has some scheduled activities throughout the week.
