About this babysitting job

I have one child (8 years old). She’s very independent and easygoing—this is mostly a “be present and keep her company” type of evening. She may want to watch TV, play on her iPad, or just hang out and play. Since it’s the weekend, there’s no strict bedtime routine. She usually stays up until I get home. We also have a friendly puppy in the home, so you’ll need to be comfortable around dogs (no pet care required). There’s a possibility a neighbor friend may come over to play, but this isn’t guaranteed and you would not be responsible for supervising additional children—just maintaining general awareness. Main responsibilities: * Be present and engaged * Keep her company and ensure safety * Light help with meals/snacks if needed Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required. I’d like to have a quick meet-and-greet before Saturday (or arrive about 30 minutes early that day) so we can meet and make sure it’s a good fit. I’m happy to pay for that time.
