About this nanny job

We are a loving, close family in the Streeterville/East Delaware area looking for a full-time nanny for our sweet 12-month-old boy. He is deeply loved, curious, active, and at a wonderful age where he is learning, exploring, and growing quickly. His grandmother has been his regular weekday caregiver, so he is used to warm, attentive, one-on-one care. We are hoping to find someone who can begin around June 22, ideally spending the first week alongside his grandmother to learn his routine, personality, nap rhythm, meals, favorite activities, and what helps him feel safe and happy. Our family is kind, respectful, and hands-on. We value good communication, reliability, honesty, patience, and a calm, loving environment. We are looking for someone who will feel comfortable partnering with us and who will care for him with the same tenderness, consistency, and attentiveness he is used to receiving. We want a nanny who truly enjoys toddlers — someone who will talk with him, read to him, sing with him, play with him on the floor, take him on stroller walks, and help him grow through age-appropriate activities. Responsibilities would include toddler care, meals/snacks, diapering, nap routine, stroller walks or simple outings, play and learning activities, and light child-related cleanup. We would especially appreciate someone with nanny, daycare, nursery, children’s ministry, or early childhood experience. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, or willingness to complete it. A background check will be required, and we would like to speak with references from families whose children you have personally cared for, especially infant or toddler references.
