About this babysitting job
We are seeking babysitting help for our 3-year-old son, Elliot, who has special needs, on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6. Elliot uses a ventilator and has a tracheostomy, but he is happy, active, engaging, and a lot of fun to be around. One parent will be home the entire shift, and we are simply looking for an extra set of hands during the day to help play with him, keep him company, read books, engage in activities, and assist with meals. Parents will handle all medications (there are only a few he takes orally), medical care, and equipment management. No medical experience is required. We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, dependable, and comfortable around children with medical complexities. Prior childcare, babysitting, nursing, therapy, education, or special needs experience is a plus, but not required. We are happy to provide guidance and support.
