About this babysitting job

Hi! We’re a small family of 3 in Vallejo looking for a trustworthy, honest, reliable, and caring babysitter for our sweet 16 month old daughter for occasional date nights. I’m a stay-at-home mom, and my husband works during the week. We’re hoping to start making more time for ourselves as a couple and are looking for someone who would be a great fit for our family. Our daughter is playful, curious, and loves exploring. She enjoys playing with her toys, being silly, chatting in her own little toddler language, and, of course, snacking! She is generally very happy and easygoing. The main responsibilities would be playing with her, keeping her safe, and helping her get settled for bed. We don’t follow a strict bedtime routine. we usually just watch for her cues, and when she starts getting tired or fussy, it’s time for bed. We simply ask that she not stay up past 10:30 PM. She’s typically very easy to put to sleep and usually sleeps through the night once she’s down. Once she’s asleep, you’re welcome to relax, watch TV, and help yourself to snacks or drinks while you’re here. We’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, honest, dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers. As first time parents leaving our daughter with a sitter, finding someone reliable who will care for her with kindness and attention is very important to us. Previous toddler experience and references are appreciated. We’d love to hear from you!
