About this babysitting job

Hi! We’re the Salazar family. My name is Jacob, and I’m a Mexican American working professional in tech. I mostly work from home. My wife, Rossana, is Venezuelan, a business owner, and also works from home. We’re a bilingual household, Rossana speaks Spanish with our daughter, and I speak mostly English with her, with some Spanish as well. We’re looking for someone caring, patient, and dependable to help care for our 2-year-old daughter, Alessia. This would start as occasional care but could potentially turn into part-time support depending on fit and availability. Alessia is sweet, curious, playful, and loves books, toys, Paw Patrol, walking around the neighborhood, and playing outside in the backyard. Her typical day starts around 9:00 AM with breakfast, followed by playtime, outdoor time, reading, and activities. Nap time is usually sometime between 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM, depending on how active she has been that day. We’re looking for someone who can provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment while we work and manage the balance of family life. The ideal sitter would enjoy playing with toddlers, reading books, encouraging learning, helping with simple routines, and keeping Alessia safe and happy. Spanish-speaking or bilingual is a plus, but not required. Most importantly, we want someone who is kind, attentive, trustworthy, and genuinely enjoys spending time with little ones.
