About this babysitting job

Part-Time After-School Babysitter (East Harlem) I am looking for a caring, energetic and reliable babysitter for my (almost) 3-year-old son. The position will begin with a paid trial session to ensure a good fit for both my son and our family. I am hoping to find someone interested in a long-term relationship. Summer Schedule (July–August) * Mondays and Wednesdays * Approximately 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM * School pickup * Walk to the park or return home * Playtime, bathing, conversation, snacks and supervision until I return from work School Year Schedule (Starting Fall 2026) * Mondays and Wednesdays * Approximately 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM * Long-term commitment preferred About My Son He is an active, curious and energetic 3-year-old who loves being outdoors, playing, learning and interacting with people. Who I'm Looking For * Experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children * Reliable and punctual * Warm, patient and kind * Comfortable setting boundaries when needed * Enjoys active play and outdoor activities * Someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with children, teaching them, talking with them and helping them learn through everyday activities * Responsibilities may occasionally include feeding Children (meal prep would be provided) * CPR/First Aid certification is a plus The ideal candidate is not simply looking to supervise a child, but enjoys building a relationship with children and supporting their development through play, conversation and exploration.
