We are looking for an experienced, reliable babysitter to care for our two children while we’re staying with a friend in Encino (4331 Meadowview Pl, Encino, CA 91436) on Thursday while we attend a soccer game (3 or 4pm to 11:30pm or Midnight). We could also use help on Friday during the day if available. We are visiting from out of town and want a sitter who is calm, safety-focused, and comfortable with an evening routine and staying in the home after the kids are asleep. There will be an additional regular nanny there during that time helping with our friend’s two other children who can help and answer questions. Our children, JJ is 4 and Helen is almost 1, are sweet and playful children. Though we will need some help giving them dinner and their bedtime routine. The sitter’s primary responsibilities will be to help with any bedtime steps (stories, tucking in, reassurance), monitor the children while they sleep, and respond if either child wakes up or needs comfort. We are looking for someone who: • Has strong experience caring for children in this age range and can provide references. • Is dependable, on time, and comfortable communicating by text so we can check in during the game if needed. • Is willing to keep the children’s spaces tidy (toys/books used that evening) and maintain a calm, quiet environment while they sleep. Approximate schedule: • Thursday: 3-4pm to 11:30pm or Midnight • Friday: Flexible, but maybe around 8am-3pm During the shift, the sitter may read, watch TV quietly, or work on a laptop once the kids are asleep, as long as they remain attentive and available. We value good communication, professionalism, and a warm, friendly presence for our kids. Please confirm your relevant experience, certifications, and comfort with short-term, one-off evening babysitting assignments for traveling families in the Encino/Valley area.Babysitting job details
