About this babysitting job

We are looking for a reliable, fun, and trustworthy babysitter for occasional date nights and weekend afternoons/evenings. We live in The Woodlands Hills and need care for one child, our 4-year-old. We also have a 13-year-old at home who is completely independent and does not require caretaking—he mostly stays in his own space but may occasionally come downstairs to grab a snack. What We’re Looking For: Bilingual (Spanish/English): Highly preferred! We’d love someone who can interact, play, or read with our 4-year-old in Spanish. Someone energetic, patient, and engaging who loves playing games, doing crafts, or reading bedtime stories (rather than just relying on screens). Responsible, safety-conscious, and experienced with preschoolers. Schedule & Flexibility: This is an occasional, as-needed role. Primarily Friday or Saturday date nights (typically 6:00 PM – midnight), with the occasional weekend daytime slot for errands. We will always try to give you plenty of advance notice! Responsibilities: Keeping our 4-year-old safe and entertained. Feeding them a prepared dinner or making simple snacks. Managing the bedtime routine (pajamas, brushing teeth, stories). Requirements: Prior babysitting experience with excellent references. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Non-smoker. Reliable transportation to get to and from our house late at night (up to midnight). Comfortable with dogs: We have a friendly Catahoula Leopard dog.
