I’m looking for a warm, dependable, and experienced nanny to provide on-call backup childcare for my wonderful 3.5-year-old son on weekdays whenever he is sick and unable to attend daycare. As a single father who works remotely from home, I’m looking for someone who can confidently care for him while I work from my office in the next room. I’ll be available if needed, but I’m hoping to find someone who can independently provide attentive, loving care during my work time. My son is affectionate, curious, and easygoing. He loves books, puzzles, Magna-Tiles, building toys, drawing, pretend play, and interactive play. When he’s not feeling well, he usually enjoys quieter activities such as reading stories, puzzles, cuddling, music, and naps. Responsibilities include providing attentive supervision throughout the day, serving meals and snacks (food will be prepared or readily available), encouraging fluids, playing with him, reading books, helping with puzzles and quiet activities, putting him down for naps, keeping him comfortable while he recovers, assisting with basic hygiene as needed, and letting me know if his symptoms change or you have any concerns. Light child-related cleanup, tidying toys and books, and cleaning up after meals and activities, is appreciated, My goal is to find a kind, reliable caregiver who can become a trusted backup nanny whom my son feels comfortable with whenever he needs to stay home from daycare.
