About this babysitting job

I need a bit of relief in the evening! My son is 6 months old so he is experiencing some separation anxiety to be honest, but we’ve hit poor sleep and I need a little support to take a breath. He is very sweet and loves practicing standing and crawling (with help!). We also have a bassethound and a cat who both will want to be your best friend. “Pet care” is really just letting the bassethound in and out to pee. He will scratch at the back door to let you know. Be aware the cat might try to escape when the door is open, but he usually freezes and is easy to catch once he runs outside if he slips past you. This will cover from between his last nap and his bedtime. I’ll be in the house but cloistered away after making dinner which I invite you to join! Flexible end time on when he gets tired, or you’re welcome to stay the full time. To put all the cards on the table, he may cry the whole time you’re here (like I said he’s experiencing separation anxiety). I have a carrier that helps but he even cries when his dad has him. Obviously if it gets too intense I will come join again to help soothe him but I don’t want to sugar coat it. He doesn’t hit or bite or anything of that nature, just cries ;( while mostly breastfed he does take formula from a bottle which can also help soothe him temporarily.
