About this babysitting job
Hi, this job is hanging out and playing with our 7 year old son. He knows his bedtime routine and follows it pretty well with just verbal prompting (screens off at 6:30, bath time, read a book around 7:30, lights off and in his room at 8 —he can read or listen to books on tape in the dark to fall asleep). He lives video games, Pokémon, legos, and magnatiles. He is a bright kid and responds well to being offered choices about how to do things rather than being told what to do. We do let him negotiate within reason (ie. 5 more minutes of whatever). We use positive behavior support at home and he has a system where he earns points for following directions and saying nice things.Babysitting job details
