About this babysitting job

We’re looking for a warm, reliable caregiver to become part of our family’s village! We have two fun, energetic kids—Max (5) and Celia Pearl (almost 3)—who love imaginative play, books, building, music, and being outdoors. We’re hoping to find someone for: * Regular date nights (2–3 times per month) * Occasional weekday support when schedules get busy * Overnight care a few times each year while we travel We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys young children, understands child development, and can create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. Experience with high-energy children is a plus. We’re looking for someone who is patient, playful, and comfortable redirecting big feelings and big energy with warmth and consistency. Reliability, good communication, and a calm presence are important to us, and we’d love to find someone interested in building a long-term relationship with our family. Responsibilities include: * Keeping the kids safe and engaged * Preparing simple meals and snacks * Following established bedtime routines * Planning age-appropriate activities and active play * Tidying up after meals and play CPR/First Aid certification and previous experience with preschool and early elementary-aged children are preferred. We hope to find someone who will become a trusted, long-term part of our family’s support system.
