Hi! I’m looking for a warm, highly reliable babysitter/driver for my four-year-old son, Ringo. I’d like to begin with a paid babysitting trial shift in downtown Austin: • July 15 from 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. During that shift, you’d swim, play, and hang out with Ringo while I work out nearby. These shifts will give us a chance to get to know each other and make sure Ringo feels safe and comfortable with you before the transportation portion of the job. The transportation schedule would be July 20–24: • Arrive at my mom’s home near the Arboretum no later than 8:30 a.m. • Drive Ringo to school near Manchaca. • Pick him up from school at 4:20 p.m. • Drive him back to my mom’s home near the Arboretum. The drive is approximately 25 minutes without traffic but can take up to an hour during heavier traffic, so please make sure you’re comfortable with the distance and schedule before applying. Compensation for the July 20–24 transportation portion is $500 total, inclusive of driving and mileage. The July 15 trial shift will be paid separately at the agreed hourly rate. I’m looking for someone nurturing, playful, patient, punctual, and genuinely experienced with preschool-aged children. You must have your own safe and reliable car, a clean driving record, current car insurance, strong childcare references, and confidence supervising a child around water. CPR certification is strongly preferred.
