We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and highly responsible Professional Caregiver to provide exceptional, screen-free childcare for an infant under one year of age in a private home setting. This role focuses on creating a safe, enriching environment, managing daily routines, and supporting early childhood development through active engagement. Schedule: Days: Monday through Thursday Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Might vary depending on working schedules) Key Responsibilities: Primary Infant Care: Provide attentive supervision, manage feeding/bottle preparation, handle diapering, and maintain consistent nap schedules. Developmental Engagement: Lead age-appropriate, hands-on activities (reading, sensory play, motor skill exercises) to promote cognitive growth. Zero-Screen-Time Policy: Adhere to a strict prohibited screen-time policy. Television, tablets, and smartphones are entirely forbidden for the child. Caregiver personal device usage is restricted to emergencies or nap times. Safety and Upkeep; Light Housekeeping: Maintain a hazard-free environment, zero smoking, vaping or any such related activities, adhere to safe sleep protocols, and administer CPR/First Aid if necessary. Perform light, child-related upkeep (e.g., sanitizing bottles, tidying play areas). Qualifications: Experience: Proven, verifiable experience specializing in infant care (under 1 year old) in a private home or professional childcare setting. Certifications: Current Infant CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to start date). Skills: Deep understanding of infant developmental milestones, exceptional patience, strong communication skills, and creativity in screen-free play. Logistics: Must have reliable personal transportation to ensure strict punctuality. Adaptability: Adjust to ever evolving infant development and parents’ schedules to accommodate working hour updates.
