Newborn Nanny Needed in Hyde Park – Starting August 24 Hi there! We're a family of three — mom, dad, and our newborn daughter — living in Hyde Park. I work from home in the afternoons, but I need dedicated focus time for work, so we're looking for someone to take the lead on our baby's care during those hours. [A Little About Our Baby] She'll be about 10 weeks old when the job starts. She's a pretty chill baby — sleeps well, eats well, takes a bottle without a fuss, and isn't easily rattled by noise or new stimulation. [What You'd Be Doing] - Feeding, burping, changing diapers, naps, and playtime - Washing and sterilizing bottles, baby laundry, and other baby-related tidying - I'm breastfeeding and pumping, so you'd be bottle-feeding expressed milk - As she grows, the role may shift a bit (starting solids, etc.) [Schedule] - Days/Hours: Monday–Thursday, 12–6 PM - Start date: Monday, August 24, 2026 - Location: Hyde Park, Chicago - Pay: $20–25/hour, depending on experience [What We're Looking For] - Newborn care experience (2–3 months) — this can be professional nanny experience or hands-on experience with your own baby - Comfortable and experienced with bottle-feeding, burping, and safe sleep - Non-smokers only, please [Nice to Have] - CPR/First Aid certification - Someone who can commit to at least 6 months [Next Steps] - We'll review applications and set up an in-person interview (baby included!) - One or two paid trial days - Final decision and handoff in mid-AugustNanny job details
