About this babysitting job

We're looking for a babysitter who can come weekdays 9-4pm to watch our twins in our apartment. We both mostly work from home but could really use someone to focus on the kids while we take meetings, etc. At least one parent will be available to help out most of the time, but might be hiding in the bedroom so the kids don't cry for us. They have a big playpen with tons of toys, so most of the job is playing with them in the playpen. It would be great to find someone who could work Monday - Friday the last week of July and the first and third weeks of August, but we can be very flexible about days and hours. Our daughter is very sweet and is starting to talk, so she loves to be read to or have her stuffed animals talk to her. Our son is higher energy and is all about walking, playing with cars, and loves anything that lights up and plays sounds. They get along well and are largely past the fighting over toys stage! They are a little shy at first, so we'll try to ease you in by playing with their favorite toys with you. They're both still in diapers, but we're happy to help with those. They'll need to be fed breakfast and lunch, but we can do the prep and clean up. They nap for 1.5-2 hours every day, during which time you can use our apartment building's amenities (rooftop, TV room, study rooms, etc.), take advantage of our central location in Downtown Oakland, or whatever you'd like to do.
