ONE-DAY BABYSITTER NEEDED – Monday, August 10 (Allen, TX) We're looking for a caring, reliable babysitter to watch our 4-year-old son, Corbin, in our home on Monday, August 10, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM while his daycare is closed for teacher training. ABOUT CORBIN: Corbin is a sweet and energetic 4-year-old who is Level 1 high-functioning autistic. He thrives with routine, positive encouragement, and one-on-one attention. He's verbal, enjoys playing, and loves having someone engaged with him throughout the day. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: • Someone who has experience working with autistic children (RBTs, teachers, therapists, or experienced caregivers are encouraged to apply!) • CPR certification is a plus • Someone patient, dependable, and comfortable following Corbin's routines • Preferably located in or near Allen, TX RESPONSIBILITIES: • Play and engage with Corbin throughout the day • Make sure he drinks lots of water • Assist with snacks and lunch • Light tidying up after Corbin's activities and meals • Potty training support (I'll be working from home and will help) • Ensure a safe, fun, and structured environment PAY: $25/hour I'll be working from home during the day, so I'll be available if questions come up, but I need someone who can independently keep Corbin engaged while I work. My husband is also recovering from surgery, so he will not be able to help. Because of this, you would need to help keep Corbin from disturbing his father too much.
