We’re coming in from Los Angeles and staying in Midtown. I have work meetings both Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12, and I’m looking for someone to spend 5–6 hours with my 9-year-old son each of those days. The exact window is flexible and I can work around your schedule. No allergies, no medications. He’s easygoing and a good walker, and this is his first real time in New York. What I’m after is a nice mix of city and downtime — not a packed itinerary. Things I think he’d love that are easy from Midtown: the Intrepid Museum on the West Side, the American Museum of Natural History, Central Park (the zoo, the boat pond, Heckscher playground), the Nintendo store at Rockefeller Center, the whispering gallery at Grand Central, or just a walk and a proper slice of pizza. One good outing a day is plenty.Babysitting job details
