About this babysitting job

We’re looking for a warm, reliable babysitter to care for our cheerful and friendly 13-month-old daughter from August 13 through August 21, weekdays only, while our regular nanny takes some time off to attend to a family situation. The hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. It’s important to us that you can arrive on time at 8:00 AM so we can drop off the other kids to school, head to work etc. We can be flexible on the end time depending on day if it isn’t possible to stay as long. She’s a happy, social baby and generally has a pretty predictable daytime routine. During the day, she typically: * Takes 2 naps * Has 2 bottle feeds * Eats breakfast and lunch (solids) * Enjoys playing, reading books, and interacting with her caregiver We’d love someone who can keep her engaged and happy throughout the day and is comfortable following her usual routine. While she is napping, we’d also appreciate some light household help, primarily: * Unstacking and loading the dishwasher * Folding the kids’ laundry about 2–3 times over the course of the week Childcare is definitely the priority, and the household tasks can be worked in around her naps and schedule. One of us will plan to work from home for the first day or two to help you get comfortable with her routine and our home. We also have a very friendly, super chill dog who will be around during the day. She mostly keeps to himself and sleeps for the majority of the time. Prior experience caring for infants is a must. We’d also greatly appreciate someone who can provide one or two references from families they’ve previously worked with.
