We are a family with three children (6y, 3y, 5m) living in the Brookland neighborhood of Northeast D.C. (about 1.5 miles from Catholic University). We are looking to build a small pool of reliable babysitters we can call on sporadically for evening and night-time care. We do not need any daytime help. Immediate Need: We are looking for someone to watch our kids for the first time next Friday night (August 21st). Because safety and comfort are our top priorities, we require a short, 15-minute video call early next week before the official job. First Official Shift: Friday, August 21st, 5:00pm-11:00pm (will be two children, 5-month-old and 6-year-old). Pay Rate: $25/hr for two children (Future: $22 for one child, $27 for three children) Ideal Candidate: - Lives in Brookland or attends a nearby university (CUA, Howard) - Has reliable evening/night transit or lives within walking distance - Fun, responsible, and comfortable with infants and active toddlers/kids. - CPR/First Aid certification is expected If you are a local student or neighbor looking for babysitting opportunities, please apply with your general availability for a quick video call introduction on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday.
