I have recently become available to provide nanny and babysitting services again. I am an experienced nanny/babysitter who has been babysitting since age 11. I have been a nanny for the past 6 years working mostly with infants ages 6 weeks to 3 years. I have raised 4 grown children, three boys and a girl ages 39 to 25. I have ECE coursework and worked in a daycare part-time. I love children and have taught Sunday school for many years for infants and toddlers for a larger church in the area. I believe spontaneous play is the best way to learn but incorporate age-appropriate learning and activities into play. I have a good knowledge of music, enjoy the outdoors and going on parent approved excursions. I am patient and loving and just really enjoy working with infant and toddlers but work well with all ages. I started in the healthcare field as a medical assistant and medical transcriptionist and did this for many years so I could be home with my own kids. I have decided in the last few years to follow my passion in working with children and started working for families with children ages 2 months 10 years. I absolutely love it and am looking for long term and consistent work. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have a BS in Psychology and also worked in the Care Ministry at my church. I do love animals also so pets in the home are not a problem.

Hi, my name is Sarah and I have a masters in school counseling. I have 15 years of experience working with children, teens and people with disabilities. I also love to babysit my nieces and nephews. I am a former registered behavior technician and know ABA(behavior) therapy. When I’m taking care of young kids I like to read to them, play games, complete puzzles or simply do whatever they enjoy. I also like to take them outdoors to local playgrounds or go for walks if parents permit. In my free time I enjoy live music, painting and spending time with family and friends.

Hello, i am a father of 3 and an EMT-B. I have worked with children with disabilities for many years. My daughter and son but have medical conditions and also have worked with one family whos child has cerebral palsy part time till mom past away. Then i assisted a young lady part time who had down syndrome to teach life skills and prepare her for independent living. I love babies and loved my time teaching my 3 as they grew. I did work part time a couple years as a substitute teacher and in the classroom setting loved my time with k through 3rd and high-school. Younger kids were sponges for learning if made interesting and older kids were fine to do their work if i let them listen to earbuds. Anyway thats me. I may not seem like a traditional caregiver, but guys can be caring and fun too.

I was recently thinking of a way to assist parents (single parents), as a mom whose had both married and single years. Then, I came across UrbanSitters. I have four children, who are now all adults. For sure, there were those who assisted me during the single years with my children, when they were little, and I would like to do the same for other parents in return. Sometimes parents need a little assistance with running errands, pick-ups, of just have a sitter sit some hours so parents can take a breather and free up more time for family time. I have an associates degree in medical administration and finishing up a bachelor degree in criminal justice. I have worked in the business, medical and judicial settings, pretty much since graduating high school. Children are precious gifts and are naturally funny at times, looking to explore their new world safely. I loved taking care of my own children, as well as relatives and friends children. I love reading, music, movies, and the outdoors. My availability is pretty flexible but it changes.

I am a full time therapist for teenagers and adults and have had the privilege of working as a nanny for the last five years. I am a positive presence, an empathetic listener, and am passionate about creativity and adventure. As a nanny I bring those passions with me to create a nurturing, safe, and exciting place for kids. I have served five different families over the last five years and have experience with infants, toddlers, and school age children of both genders. As I continue to build a private practice, I am looking to partner with another family to help their children thrive!

I’m a responsible and patient caregiver with experience working with children of all ages, from infants to school-age students. I currently attend Liberty University and am majoring in Elementary Education, with a goal to become a teacher somewhere in the range of 1st-3rd grade. As part of my degree, I have completed several practicums in a classroom and several tutoring sessions as well, which included tutoring students in reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. I have also grown up babysitting since around the age of 13, so I am very familiar with creating a positive, fun, and safe environment for kids. I’m organized, reliable, and comfortable managing routines such as meals, homework, and bedtime. I love creating a positive, engaging environment through activities, learning, and play, and I always prioritize safety, communication, and building trust with every family I work with.

Hi! I'm Jada, and caring for children has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I love creating safe, encouraging, and fun environments where kids can learn, grow, and simply enjoy being kids. Whether we're reading books, playing outside, doing crafts, or helping with homework, my goal is to make every child feel valued, supported, and cared for. I earned my Bachelor of Science in English and recently completed my MBA from Liberty University. My education, combined with years of hands-on experience, has strengthened my communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. For the past five years, I've spent time every week serving in lower-income housing communities, working with children from 6 months to 18 years old. I led lessons, organized activities, mentored children, and built meaningful relationships with families. My goal was always to be a positive influence while making life a little easier for parents. I've also worked as a nanny throughout college and have continued nannying over the past year. I've cared for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and teenagers, and I'm comfortable preparing meals, helping with homework, creating fun activities, maintaining routines, and transporting children to and from school or activities. I have a clean driving record, so families can feel confident knowing their children are in safe hands. In addition to childcare, I've spent several years mentoring students through leadership roles as a Resident Assistant and Commuter Coordinator. These experiences strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and build trusting relationships with both children and parents. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, planning events, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends. I'm dependable, patient, organized, and genuinely love building lasting relationships with the families I serve. Whether you're looking for an occasional babysitter, a long-term nanny, or after-school care, I'd love the opportunity to support your family and provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for your children!
