Hello Families, My name is Angela, and I am from Colombia. I am a graduate student in Public Health. I have been caring for children for the past 18 years. I am CPR/First Aid certified and possess a California driver's license. I am current on all my vaccines. I am also a certified Postpartum Doula with over 13 years of experience. My philosophy is to support the baby, the mom, and the family in creating a balanced and loving environment. I am highly dedicated to my work and take it seriously. I enjoy activities such as engaging in art projects, visiting parks, museums, and zoos, going for walks, and baking with children. I appreciate parents who provide clear instructions for their children's routines, set boundaries, and communicate effectively. One preference I have is that children usually stay away from screens while with me, except on weekends, although I respect if parents prefer otherwise. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions!

Timely and great communication

8 things every child needs to hear: 1. I love you no matter what. 2. I am proud of you. 3. I'm sorry. 4. I forgive you. 5. I am listening to you. 6. This is your responsibility. 7. You can do it! 8. I understand you. Hi! My name is Lizzy. I have worked as a Special Education Aide in the classroom at Palo Alto Unified School District, a Teacher's Assistant at Bridge the Gap College Prep, and a summer school Math teacher in the Marin City School District. I also worked in the nursery at Redeemer Presbyterian. I studied Leadership and Management at NYU and I am looking to babysit once a weekend (recurring), either Saturday or Sunday, for around four hours (flexible). Greetings Everyone! My name is Genèvieve, I am a Rāja and Jivamukti Yoga Instructor, an Activist/Advocate Leader (policy/law), in human trafficking and Founder of a Women’s Outdoor Organization. I am hard-working, honest, dependable, accountable, educated, punctual, intelligent, mellow, fun, great communicator, thoughtful, can take initiative and have a pitch in attitude, loves outdoors, can be firm yet kind, likes to cook, love animals and do live a pretty healthy and active lifestyle. I maintain a positive outlook in life. I am a person who believes that everything in life matters. One of my greatest qualities is my connection with children. Children are little philosophers, they are bright, resilient and intelligent little people, they watch us closely and sense us on an energetic level. My focus in supporting their development is through activating their neurological brain chemistry and sensory mechanics. When we understand the function of these models, children can evolve through conscious evolution. It is enriching to teach important life skill practices to children. In addition, my connection with children come in a form of lovingness, friendliness, playfulness, creativity, and ensuring that I provide a safe environment where they can blossom, find their authentic self to freely express who they are and most importantly, that they trust me. With this wealth at hand, a healthy relationship is born. Personal Interests & Hobbies Zazen, yoga, nutrition, sauntering trails, camping, paddle boarding, swimming, cooking, photography, road trips, documentary, dance, reading and love dogs and all animals! Non-violent communication, conflict resolution in communities. Offering outdoor yoga women’s retreats. Educating myself in all my interest, most specially in writing a series of children’s book regarding neurological brain chemistry. With hope of publishing in the future. Certifications: CPR/First Aid/AED Certified. Clean driving record. Certified Yoga, Swimming and Rock Climbing Instructor. Covid, Tdap and Flue vaccinated. If you feel a connection, I would love to hear from you. Genèvieve T. Aka Ms. G Connection, Communication & Consistency.

Hi, I’m Nina. I’m a reliable, calm, and experienced caregiver based in Berkeley and Santa Clara Valley. About Me I recently graduated and currently offer babysitting for families looking for someone dependable, warm, and experienced. I take childcare seriously and bring a steady, grounded energy into the home. Experience I have over 10 years of paid childcare experience with children ranging from 2 months to 14 years old. My background includes working as an au pair on the East Coast, a full-time nanny in San Francisco, and a babysitter in Los Angeles. I’m comfortable with dinner routines, bedtime, bath time, light meal prep, homework support, and caring for multiple children at once. I’m organized, attentive, and responsive to each child’s individual needs. My Approach I focus on creating a structured but relaxed environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. For date nights, I aim to keep the evening calm, smooth, and fun while maintaining the family’s usual routine. My style is balanced, consistent, respectful, and calm. I believe children thrive with clear expectations, kindness, and patience. Outside of work, I enjoy the beach, long walks, and a quiet night with a good book. I also have a dog and a cat, so I’m very comfortable around pets. I look forward to connecting and seeing if we’re a good fit!

Hello, my name is Cagla. I hold a master’s degree and have been working with children and families since 2013. My experience includes working as an au pair in the U.S. as well as supporting families through after-school educational programs and family-focused care services. I understand the different needs of children at various developmental stages and adapt my approach accordingly, and I consistently receive positive feedback from families for my professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to build trust.

Cagla has been a repeat babysitter many times for us over the past year for our kids aged 2 and 4. She is punctual, responsive, and has great availability. She even traveled north of SF to babysit during a recent family trip, which gave us great piece of mind since we knew and trusted her already. What stands out about Cagla compared to other other caregivers we've worked with (and why we continue to work with her) is the amount of energy, drive and attention she has in her work with children. She knows what ages various milestones happen (e.g. separation anxiety) and is prepared to handle them. She always asks the important practical questions about routines and schedules, and provides a clear update at the end of the stay. She is warm and plays with our kids on their level, but also very clear with them when they are crossing boundaries they shouldn't. Our children look forward to spending time with her!
