Hello! My name is Sandra, and I have been passionately working in child care for the past four years at the YWCA of Contra Costa. Most of my experience has been with children aged 3-5, but I recently transitioned to working with toddlers around 2 years old, which has been both exciting and rewarding. In addition to my childcare expertise, I am also happy to assist with light household tasks to support families. I absolutely love dogs and would be thrilled to work with families who have them, though I’m also comfortable around other animals. I take great pride in creating a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and grow, and I look forward to bringing my skills and enthusiasm to your family!
Hi! My name is Tiffany, and I’m 22 years old. I’ve been a professional nanny for over 5 years and have had the opportunity to work with more than 50 wonderful families. I’ve cared for children of all ages, from newborns to elementary-aged kids, in both full-time and part-time roles, nanny shares, date nights, and occasional care. Before becoming a nanny, I coached gymnastics for young children, which is where I realized how much I genuinely love working with kids. That experience taught me patience, creativity, and how to make learning and play fun while helping children build confidence. As a nanny, I’m comfortable with all aspects of childcare. I’ve cared for infants through every stage, prepared bottles and meals, changed diapers, followed nap schedules, helped with potty training, planned age-appropriate activities, and encouraged learning through play. I love spending time outdoors, going on walks, visiting parks, reading books, doing arts and crafts, sensory play, building forts, baking, playing games, and creating fun activities that keep children engaged while supporting their development. I’m also experienced with school-aged children and regularly handle school drop-offs and pick-ups, driving to activities, helping with homework, preparing snacks and meals, and keeping kids on a consistent routine. I have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and I’m CPR certified, so parents can feel confident their children are in safe hands. I pride myself on being dependable, organized, patient, and easy to communicate with. I believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun. Building long-term relationships with families is one of my favorite parts of being a nanny, and I always strive to be someone both parents and children can trust. Outside of work, I love traveling, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors. I truly enjoy what I do and feel so grateful to have a career that allows me to make a positive impact in children’s lives every day.
I’m a professional infant teacher with 3 years of experience caring for babies and toddlers, and I bring that same calm, loving care into the home as a babysitter. Most of my Early Childhood Education classes focused on ages 3–19 months, with a strong emphasis on safe, healthy foods and proper care for this age group. I specialize in age-appropriate nutrition and gentle sleep support—from preparing bottles and breastmilk to helping babies transition to purees and soft solids safely. I also follow safe sleep practices, help with nap routines, and use soothing techniques that respect each baby’s temperament. With me, your baby will be well-fed, safely cared for, and supported in healthy sleep and daily routines.
Hi Families, My name is Ana Cristina, I am an experienced nanny and a full-time student pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Past families have described me as extremely reliable, proactive, kind, and firm but fun — someone who brings structure while keeping children happy, supported, and thriving. I take a calm, nurturing, and professional approach to every family I work with, balancing clear boundaries with warmth and play. I strive to create a safe and loving environment where children feel confident, curious, and supported in their growth — helping families feel confident and at ease knowing their children are in caring hands. What I’m Currently Looking For • Part-time position (single family or nanny share) • Long-term role (ideally one year or longer) • Flexibility — I have class every Tuesday until 12:05 PM (January–May) • $30/hr starting rate on payroll. Areas; Concord, Clayton, Orinda, Moraga, Martinez, Pittsburg, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Lafayette, Alamo, Danville, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore. What I Offer • Up-to-date vaccinations • CPR/BLS and TrustLine Certified • Safe Sleep Certification • Water Safety Certification • Starting Solids Certification (in progress) • Newborn Care Specialist Certification (in progress) • Reliable vehicle with a clean driving record. • Household support related to children (laundry, tidying, meal prep) • Experience with sleep training, potty training, and starting solids. • Fluent in English and Portuguese. With my ongoing education and hands-on experience, I provide attentive, structured, and developmentally appropriate care. I have a strong understanding of child development and milestones, and I focus on helping children reach them through consistent routines, positive guidance, and engaging activities. If you feel as if we’d be a good fit, please reach out and we can set up a time to connect.
Hello My name is Simone, I’m a 21 year old student who just graduated from Diablo valley College with a certification in early childhood education. My experience includes volunteering in a Montessori preschool and volunteering in an occupational therapy clinic for children with disabilities. The ages I have the most experience with are Preschoolers from ages 3-10. I also have babysitted a couple of clients in the past. I believe I am fit to be a babysitter because I like doing arts and crafts with the children and reading books to them. Some tasks that I am able to perform is helping with making meals, light household work, helping getting ready for bedtime, and homework help (if it’s not math). I also have a calm but clear demeanor when comes to working with challenging behavior. I can’t wait to meet you and your child!
