I am creative, energetic, and passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. Hi! I’m a full-time college student completing my undergraduate degree for law school and a full-time daycare teacher with over 8 years of experience working with children through daycare, babysitting, volunteer work, and children’s ministry. For the past two years, I’ve worked at the YMCA, where I’ve received certifications in youth development, behavior management, safety, and CPR. I regularly lead groups of 30–50 children, create engaging activities, and support other staff to help ensure a safe, positive environment for every child. In addition to daycare, I have experience babysitting for families by preparing meals, helping with homework, transporting children to school and activities, maintaining routines, and creating fun, age-appropriate activities. I also teach Sunday School, where I plan lessons and activities for children. My top priority is creating a safe, caring environment where children feel supported and parents feel confident leaving their little ones in my care. Outside of work, I enjoy singing on my church’s worship team, practicing French (I’m bilingual in English and Spanish!), playing soccer and tennis, and getting creative with arts and crafts.
I enjoy working with children, especially just knowing how much they can teach you about yourself and the world around them. I used to work as a behavioral therapist in a variety of settings and manage youth volunteers at my church, and I've learned so much from my time there. I don't mind getting involved in any activity - I'll make sure I'm prepared! Especially dance and art.
