Hello my name is Anairis but you can call me Ana :). I am a full time nursing student with 2 years nursing assistant experience with older adults. Working with older adults has been a joy, I love building strong connections and being a reliable person for them. I’m able to assist with activities of daily living. I occasionally babysit my nieces and nephews whose ages range from 10 months- 10years. I’m currently a babysitter for a family, taking care of a 2,5, and 8 year old. I hope to work in pediatrics because children are curious and fun to be around. I’d be happy to tutor as well. I can get creative with dancing, story telling, cooking and crafts. I have 1 dog who is 9 years old but I love all pets! I am BLS/CPR certified, first aid certified, and nursing assistant certified. I have a driver license and car. From a young age I have been interested in working with children. At birthdays, family gatherings, and holidays, I was always the one watching and playing with all of the younger kids. In high school, I began babysitting and made my first earnings by babysitting for a lovely family after school each day. More recently, I have been interested in child development and am studying psychology to understand the milestones of development and understand how children can be supported early on to enable their full potential and support their emotional, physical, and intellectual development. Most recently, I worked as an Enrichment teacher for a summer camp program. As such, I was responsible for a group of 25 kids and lead STEM based lessons and crafts. My position as a summer teacher has not only augmented my respect towards teachers, as I have understood how challenging it is to guide, observe, and mentor a cohort of kids, but it has also helped me build an invaluable set of skills. In my experiences, I’ve learned to be attentive, vigilant, patient, observant, and understanding. The emotional lives of children are just, if not more, complex than those of adults. They must face difficult and big emotions having only a limited set of skills to manage them. As such, I prioritize listening and respecting the feelings that children I work with have. What may seem trivial to the adult perspective may be much more significant for a younger mind. When facing challenges, I always start by listening. Most often, we just need to be heard. In addition to emotional safety, I also prioritize situational safety by always observing behavior and context as many things can be prevented when de-escalated early on. Caregiving is at the heart of every relationship as we all require someone to rely on. As a person, I am very sympathetic, understanding, welcoming, supportive, and reliable – all aspects that I’ve learned through my personal, professional, and academic experiences and believe are vital to proper caregiving.

Hi! I'm Chloe, I'm 26, and I have 10+ years of childcare experience. I offer childcare, pet care, and household services. I really enjoy building connections with both kids and their families. I started babysitting when I was about 12 years old, and have been nannying/babysitting off and on ever since! I have had responsibilities such as diaper changing, engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities, school/homework help, and practicing emotional regulation. I also have experience as a household assistant, with duties including errands, household organization, meal prepping, laundry, and pet care. In my free time I enjoy playing with my dog, knitting, scrapbooking, and watching movies with my friends!

Hi, my name is Micah. I'm currently a freshman at Seattle University. I'm looking for babysitting or part time nanny jobs. I love babysitting, and have been watching infants, toddlers, and kids since I was 13 years old. I have spent two summers nannying, where my responsibilities included driving to/from activities, art projects, meal prep, and tutoring. I also love nature and often try to incorporate spending time outside while babysitting and nannying.
