Hello! I’m Nicole and I am a part-time student, trying to finish my undergraduate studies at SSU after a long sabbatical! I am also a first time mom to a wonderful 4 mo son ♥️ I enjoy exploring new places, trying out new restaurants and foods, walking with my dog outdoors, exercising, reading and attending concerts with friends. My experience working with children has taught me so much and transformed me into the person I am today. I became an alert listener, a wise decision maker, a patient advisor, a smarter supervisor, a fun-loving and creative adult, a generous and open-minded caregiver, and most importantly a loyal and loving friend to the kids I work with. This has been an invaluable experience and will surely help me in my endeavors for the future :) ***PLEASE READ BELOW*** On a side note: it is crucial for me to let parents and families know that my rates are subjective to distance as well as the major holidays. Hello! My name is Acacia and I’m CPR certified! I’m currently a college student. I’m attending Los Medanos College in the Fall and I’m majoring in Early Childhood Education because I’m pursuing a career in kindergarten teaching. I’m trying to gain experience for my future career as well as save up money for school! I love watching children, they tend to like me a lot due to my bright pink hair (haha) and since I’m younger than most people, I can keep up with the chaotic energy of children! My responsibilities included facilitating age-appropriate activities for children between the ages of 1-10 while maintaining safety, communicating effectively with parents, and providing information on daily activities and addressing any concerns promptly. I also have experience in working with cats, I have 3 cats of my own that I take care of when I’m not in school so I can watch cats. I have experience working with dogs, I have walked around ~7 dogs before all ranging in different sizes!
Preschool Teacher with a Master's degree in Psychology seeking to return to nannying. CPR and First-Aid certified. I am currently a preschool teacher in the East Bay M-F until 5:45pm so I'm open to after school babysitting or transitioning jobs for the right fit. Our school year ends in May and I would love to find the right family to work for when my current kiddos transition to their next class. I previously worked as a full-time nanny for a family with a 2-year-old boy as well as a family with three wonderful children (ages 3, 5, and 8). I also worked as a teacher in a Montessori preschool in San Francisco for 4 years. As a teaching assistant and also an extended day teacher, I was responsible for creating activities, leading storytime, helping children with their projects as needed, guiding children in conflict resolution, modeling kindness, leading movement songs, changing children who had potty accidents, and ensuring children were prepared for pick-up with all of their art and belongings. I completed my Master's in Psychology in 2021 and am eventually planning to return to graduate school to pursue licensure as a marriage and family therapist. I am warm, patient, kind, and genuinely care deeply for the children in my life. I am so grateful to spend my days with them. I love reading with children, doing art projects, playing at the park, and singing songs together. I place a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning and modeling kindness and empathy. I also enjoy fostering children’s innate interests and curiosities. As a former teacher, I am confident in supplementing and enriching children’s learning. It is deeply important to me to maintain contact with the children for whom I served as a nanny and essential that families understand the genuine love that can exist between children and their long-term caregivers. I'm looking forward to learning more about your children!

I also am currently working in Class 1 at Heritage Montessori in Lake Forest. I'm deeply passionate about fostering creativity, providing a nurturing environment, and supporting the holistic well-being of the children I care for. Hi, my name is Chessie! I hold a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Sonoma State University and currently work full-time as a Pre-K teacher at a wonderful preschool in Marin. I’m looking for part-time and occasional babysitting opportunities to earn a little extra as I prepare for my wedding this March. Born and raised in Petaluma, I developed my passion for early childhood education at a young age. I began babysitting for friends and neighbors as a young teen and started working as a summer camp counselor at 14. While in college, I worked in an after-school program supporting children in grades K–5. For the past six years, I’ve been a dedicated Pre-K teacher, gaining extensive hands-on experience supporting children’s growth, learning, and social-emotional development. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have over 10 years of experience caring for children and families in my community. I pride myself on being nurturing, dependable, and engaging, and I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for every child in my care.
