Alex $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Alex, and I am an English teacher looking for some extra summer work. I have been babysitting children for families off and on since 2008. My experience includes the following long-term clients: - A family with a school-aged brother and sister - A family with two twin boys in middle school - A family with four boys ranging in age from 2-10 I have also babysat infants for families on occasion. I am very energetic, enthusiastic, and enjoy many interests and activities that are engaging for children, including: recreational sports, storytelling, arts, playing music, learning and teaching new games (especially board games and card games), as well as playing with building and skill toys. Also, thanks to my background as a teacher, I enjoy teaching and tutoring. I started as a babysitter in high school. I realized that I enjoyed working with and caring for children when my little brother was born when I was 15 years old. In 2008, I volunteered for the High School Big Brother Big Sister, where I won the "Best High School Big Brother" in Houston award. I am also a cat owner and grew up caring for both cats can dogs. For household services, I can clean, do laundry, vacuum, and wash dishes. I am proactive when it comes to tidying and cleaning up messes. Just show me where the cleaning supplies are! Thank you for considering me. *At the moment, I do not have a car and rely on ride-sharing services or the Metro, so I am currently looking for babysitting opportunities in the Montrose/Medical Center/Rice Village Area **references can be provided upon request

Sofiyat $20 per hour for 1 child

Here's an expanded version that comfortably meets the 150-word requirement while including your library and community babysitting experience: I have extensive hands-on childcare experience that began within my own family. As one of five children, I helped care for my four younger siblings from infancy through childhood. When my twin sisters were newborns, I worked alongside my mother by caring for one twin while she cared for the other. I assisted with feeding, diaper changes, bathing, playtime, and maintaining daily routines. I also helped care for another younger sister from infancy, giving me experience with children at different developmental stages. In addition to caring for my siblings, I regularly babysat my aunt's four children, whose ages ranged from infants to teenagers. I also provided babysitting services for mothers in my community, including supervising and caring for children at the local library while parents attended programs or completed errands. These experiences strengthened my ability to care for multiple children at once while keeping them engaged, safe, and comfortable. I also have experience providing behavioral therapy for children with autism, which helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and effective behavior-management techniques. My greatest strengths as a caregiver are my reliability, compassion, attentiveness, and nurturing nature. I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel supported, and I strive to create a safe, positive, and caring environment for every child I work with.

Rachel $23 per hour for 1 child

Hi there, I’m Rachel! I’m a 29-year-old nanny based in Austin, where I live with my fiancé and our dog. I have a deep love for art, nature, and travel—but working with children has always been my greatest passion. I find childcare incredibly rewarding and strive to provide a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment for every child in my care. With over 10 years of professional experience, including more than 3 years of specialized infant care, I’ve worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings. I spent two years as a Montessori teacher, caring for infants (ages 2–18 months) and children up to 13 years old. Currently, I nanny for a family with a 4-month-old and a 4-year-old, and I also provide weekend care for six families I’ve worked with consistently over the past two years. I’m confident caring for multiple children and have experience managing up to four at once. My background also includes working as a summer camp director, an after-school archery coach, and a pediatric dental assistant—all roles that have strengthened my ability to connect with kids and keep them safe, engaged, and having fun. I follow a positive guidance philosophy rooted in empathy, connection, and healthy boundaries. I’m experienced with baby-led weaning, early potty training, and teaching infants basic ASL. I’m certified in infant CPR and first aid, and have completed over 25 hours of training in child development, emergency preparedness, food safety, and Montessori education. I’m reliable, have my own transportation, and am happy to assist with household management and tidying up after the children. I’m currently seeking a long-term weekday nanny position (6 months to 1 year). I’m available to start part-time at the end of June and transition to full-time in July. If you think I might be a good fit for your family, I’d love to connect! I’m happy to provide my resume and references upon request. Thanks so much for your consideration

Hello! My name is Mahsa. When I was in highscool I was apart of my school's Education and Training Program! My freshman year I took Principles of Education and Training, my sophmore year I took Child Growth and Development, and my junior and senior year I was in the Intructional Practicum. In the practicum, I went to either Tom Wilson, Keiko Davidson, or Odessa Kilpatrick elementary and was a teacher's assistant! Ive taught Prek-5th grade, spedning 6-12 weeks with each class I was helping. I bonded with my students, their parents, and the lead teachers so much. I made lesson plans, organized the classroom, graded assigments, taught class lessons, worked in small groups, worked with students who were apart of the special education program and tutore students indivisually. I now have an Educational Aide I certificate from Texas Education Agency (TEA). I absolutley loved my time with the kids. It made me so happy to know I got to help them grow as people. I was able to build a lot of trust with my students and form a real bond between us. My best memories with them are playing tag with all the kiddos at recess, really getting the chnace to know them through one on one converstaion, and reading books to the class while making sillt voices for the chacters. Right now I'm studying for my Bachlors of Liberal Arts - Psychology, with a minor in Child Development and Family Studies. My biggest dream is to become a childrens therapist. I have a lot of passion for psychology and I LOVE spending time with kids so its the perfect fit for me. :) I have my own car, and am willing to do anything "extra" to accomidate for the needs of the child.
