Josneiry $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Josie, and caring for others has always been a big part of who I am. I helped raise my two younger sisters growing up, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how to create a safe and supportive environment for children of all ages. I’ve also volunteered through church programs caring for children, helping supervise activities, keeping kids engaged, and making sure they felt comfortable and included. I genuinely love being around children and am often at my happiest when I’m spending time with them, whether that’s playing games, helping with homework, doing crafts, reading stories, or simply being a positive and dependable presence in their lives. I’m a college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and families describe me as kind, trustworthy, organized, and easy to communicate with. I’m also a devoted pet owner and have cared for my dog, Daisy, for the past 10 years. Being responsible for her health, happiness, and daily care has strengthened my nurturing nature and attention to detail. My goal is to provide parents with peace of mind while creating a fun, safe, and caring environment where children can feel supported, encouraged, and valued. I treat every child with the same patience, kindness, and respect that I would want for my own family.

Allison $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi — my name is Allison and I'm currently a senior in college! I am offering childcare and household errands. I have been babysitting/nannying since I was 13. I started nannying during the week while in college and was with my previous family for two years before I relocated to the city. As a kid, my family always joked that I was a baby carrying around babies — if I didn't have a babydoll on my hip it was because I had one of my little cousins there instead. I am big on arts & crafts and pretty much any creative pursuit! I have slight allergies to both dogs and cats — I'm okay if they're in the home, just let me know beforehand and I can take an allergy pill!

Arantxa $26 per hour for 1 child

I am a dedicated and compassionate nanny with over five years of hands-on experience caring for children ranging from 3 months to 9 years old. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), which has strengthened my ability to provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care in a variety of situations. As a person working with older people, infants, kids and their moms we are required to have all vaccines, clean background and 100% free of any type of drug. I have a finance degree, but I'm pursuing Nursing right now. I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and highly attentive to each child’s individual needs. My experience includes working with children with ADHD & autism, where I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to create supportive, structured, and engaging environments that help children thrive. I am committed to fostering a positive, safe, and stimulating atmosphere where children feel comfortable, valued, and encouraged to grow. Whether assisting with daily routines, educational activities, or emotional support, I always aim to provide dependable, high-quality care tailored to each family.

Emily $20 per hour for 1 child

My name is Emily, and I am 23 years old. I currently live in Bed-Stuy in Brooklyn, and graduated from City College this year with a degree in International Studies and Communications. The bulk of my child care experience has been in the past 10 years, from toddlers to teens. It has been a privilege to watch them grow up and help them embrace their interests. I worked in Brooklyn and Manhattan with some time in upstate New York as well, caring for two families who had kids ages 2-6. My experience included transporting kids on public transportation to and from school and their after school activities (via bus, subway, walking), as well as park time, cooking meals, attending events with the kids (dance classes, music classes, park meetups, hiking trips with family, and more), and playing games inside and outside, and help with homework. A special opportunity in child care I was lucky to experience was working as a summer camp counselor in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California, where I looked after campers age 5-13, as well as organized and took part in recreational outdoor activities. We spent our days hiking, playing cards, making string bracelets, learning about the environment, and camping out at night. When it comes to my interests and free time, I love traveling, cooking, roller skating, biking, and spending time at the park with my friends! The children I’ve babysat have a special place in my heart as I’ve seen them grow up. I'm excited to get to know you and your family!
