Emily $23 per hour for 1 child

I have been babysitting\nannying for years and I absolutely love it. I recently graduated from nursing school, and I expect it will be quite some time before I find a job (most positions start in the spring), so I am looking to nanny full-time until then! I am CPR certified and I have my own car if you are in need of transportation assistance. I have experience with children of all ages and I am comfortable caring for any age group.

Ellen $26 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Ellen and I would love to offer my services as a patient and nurturing caregiver. I like to think I am attentive, organized, and prioritize the safety of kids always! I can help with homework, engage kids in fun activities, prepare meals, manage bedtime routines, and keep the home clean. I love dogs and cats and am happy to assist with pretty much any household task! Families have described me as dependable, warm, and trustworthy. I truly enjoy building positive relationships with children while providing a structured, caring environment where they feel safe and supported. I’ve worked as a paraeducator in special education classrooms and am currently in the process of becoming an RBT (registered behavior technician). For families looking for household care rather than child care: I'd say I am super detail-oriented when it comes to cleaning. As long as I have the right supplies, I'll do a thorough job for your home! I can also cook most anything with a recipe to follow. On a whim though, I can make simple meals like fried rice, sandwiches, breakfast platter, and more!

Layanna $18 per hour for 1 child

My name is Layanna, and I am a fun, caring 23-year-old that just moved back after completing my B.A. at UC Santa Barbara. I was part of the volleyball team and the track team. I have a very flexible schedule during the week and would love to support a family. I enjoy working with children of all ages. I nannied for two summers for a family back home and truly valued that experience. Spending time outdoors, staying active, and doing arts and crafts with kids are some of my favorite things. In California, I also took care of a family of three while running errands for the mom and helping with cleaning around the household. My top priority is always making sure your child feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Caregivers have a big influence on children, and I do my best to lead by example. I bring a nurturing spirit and would love the opportunity to meet your family’s needs.

$27 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Grace, and I am a recent college graduate from UC Santa Barbara and a new resident of San Francisco. I am offering childcare, pet care, and household services to families in the area. For the past two or so years, I was a teaching assistant at a university-run childcare center, where I worked with young children ages 2–5. Beyond babysitting for family members and friends, I have also been both a swimming and rowing instructor for the past five years, which has made me very comfortable working with children ages 6–14. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and creating fun, engaging activities for them. I enjoy both art and being outdoors, so I would be happy to create age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and staying active. If needed, I can also help with after-school homework and provide occasional tutoring. Additionally, I would be happy to take on household responsibilities such as running errands, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, and helping with other day-to-day tasks that make a family's schedule a little easier. I've grown up with dogs, so I am very comfortable working for a family with dogs or cats, as well as helping with dog-related tasks such as walks and feeding. I am responsible, dependable, and excited to get to know a new family and help wherever I can. I would be happy to discuss your family's specific needs, schedule, and any questions you may have!

I love finding creative ways to keep kids engaged, whether that’s painting and crafts, going outside, playing games, helping with homework, or coming up with a fun project together. I’m happy to follow a family’s routine and am also comfortable taking initiative and planning activities when needed. I’m responsible, patient, organized, and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. I also have experience working with groups of children, managing activities, and creating a safe and welcoming environment. I’d love to get to know your family and become someone you can feel comfortable relying on!

Cepideh $20 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Cepideh (Cep for short) and I currently work part-time researcher at UC San Francisco, a role I secured after graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 2021. In undergrad, I was an active student involved in the Undergraduate Mentorship Program which mentors and guides first year students through academic and personal situations. One of my first ever jobs was as a swim instructor at the local swim school De Anza Cupertino Aquatics (DACA). I taught children ages 7-11 basic swim strokes and safety during their lessons. I also had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor during my high school career. I led a group of elementary school children through their activities in a weeklong excursion in the Watsonville outdoor school. I find an incredible sense of wonderment when I have the opportunity to work with children. I end up learning more than I anticipated through conversations and activities I engage in with the children. I look forward to continuing to work with children in my local area!
